Confused by complementary colors? Not sure why some color combinations feel balanced while others don't?
This beginner-friendly workshop breaks down the basics of color theory in a simple, hands-on way. Together we'll build a color wheel, explore color relationships like complementary, analogous, triadic, and split complementary, and learn practical ways to choose colors with more confidence.
Rather than memorizing rules, you'll create visual references you can return to whenever you're painting, drawing, or planning your next project. By the end of the evening, you'll have a better understanding of how colors work together—and how to make them work for you.
No previous art experience is necessary. All materials are provided unless otherwise noted.
